Just a few minutes’ walk away, approximately 400 to 500 meters, lies Trani Ammouda. It is one of the largest and most impressive beaches in Sithonia, known for its fine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Despite its size, it maintains a peaceful character, ideal for relaxation.
The Harbor: Ormos Panagias
Ormos Panagias is the picturesque seaport of Agios Nikolaos. It is the departure point for daily cruises to Mount Athos, which offer a unique opportunity to see the monasteries from the sea. At the small harbor, you will find excellent fish taverns right by the water, where you can enjoy fresh fish and local meze.
